I got my septoplasty done in India last week. Till now I never experienced pain in nose (due to painkillers) and the doc removed the nose bandage next day. The only discomfort I experienced was that my mouth and throat went complete dry for the next two days and it was very painful to drink/eat.

I just did this surgery and made it to day 5 with day 7 being when they remove everything. Thank you for sharing your experience

I had mine done 3 weeks ago and I still feel some stuffiness in my nose on the side that was operated on but I do breathe from that side more often but I still feel clogged I don’t know if it’s because more boogers lol are coming out more frequently now or if I have to use the saline spray more frequently to rinse out that side more

does this surgery leaves marks on nose?

Waste of time money and health. If you not having a severe issue. Do not have this procedure.

Had mine 2 days ago, and removing the splints next Wednesday (it’s Thursday today). Still breathing from my mouth 100% of the time, and dry mouth is the main discomfort now, and of course the splints.

How did the doctor correct it. did he trim part of the nasal septum or inserted a columellar strut to hold the nose up. mine botched my nose
